Skincare
L A S P I is committed to rethinking and promoting a pure and simple skin care approach, using 100% cold-pressed olive oil, the addition of fine clays and the purest sea salt as the foundation of our products. Moisture and exfoliation are key to healthy skincare. Aside from moisture, olive oil has a high level of antioxidants that are paramount in slowing down the ageing process and promoting healthy skin. After washing, olive oil remains on the skin providing a protective barrier against the elements that age the skin. Every use is a treatment of moisture and natural, gentle exfoliation, resulting in healthy glowing skin.
Bathing has always evoked thoughts of relaxation, cleansing and luxury. Bathing with L A S P I rejuvenates and is luxurious, whether on the run or a home spa experience, L A S P I products both revive and promote a sense of well-being.

Ingredients
The olive oil soaps are cured naturally, as opposed to the addition of hardeners and harsh damaging oils, (palm oil and coconut oil are not used). This process involves saponifying the oil going through a first cure, after which the soap is hand cut and stored. Each bar is stored individually on timber shelves so as to allow air and a lengthy cure time. The curing time of olive oil bars can of take up to one year. Making a bar of
L A S P I olive oil soap is a lengthy process but it’s worth the wait!
L A S P I creates both scented and unscented bars. No animal products are used nor do we test our products on animals.
The liquid oil wash is saponified olive oil. This gentle liquid can be used all over your body including hair and face. Essential oils of rosemary and lavender remain on the skin and leave a fresh and delicate scent.

Skin Health
Extra virgin olive moisturises without clogging pores penetrating deep into the skin providing moisture whilst cleansing, and combined with salt, gently exfoliating. Olive oil has antioxidants, polyphenols and phytosterols. It has the highest amount of hydroxytyrosol, which prevents free radical damage to the skin, vitamins A & E, which help repair skin damage caused by the sun. Vitamin E helps restore skin smoothness and is anti-ageing. Sea salt added to olive oil has mild exfoliant properties which combined with the penetrating action of the oil produce a radiant skin. No other additives other than exfoliating pure sea salt.
Pure Ancient Oil
The legendary stories of olive oil for skin care are timeless with their origins dating back to early Greek and Roman civilisations. Philosophers loved it and Cleopatra made it famous. For centuries olive oil has been used worldwide to cleanse and condition all skin types. L A S P I endeavours to develop simple bathing solutions and gentle exfoliation that can be used 'on the go' in the shower or as a luxurious pampering treatment.
Nostalgic memories of bathing with rustic soap in the courtyard at my grandparent’s home on the Greek island of Symi, sparked a passion for the art of soap making. Understanding the benefits of precious pure olive oil and mud led to a natural progression of combining what has now become the foundation of L A S P I products.
